FILCO® 339 represents an unsaturated polyester-epoxy resin meticulously crafted within a non-ionic water dispersion, dedicated to serving as a film former within glass fiber sizings. Its appearance is akin to that of a milky liquid. Notable product characteristics include a narrow particle size distribution, a prolonged shelf life attributed to hydrolytic resistance and fine particle size, as well as high mechanical shear stability, even in diluted emulsions.

Functions: Film Former

Chemical Family: Epoxy & Epoxy Derivatives, Polyesters, Unsaturated Polyester (UPE)

Compatible Polymers & Resins: Epoxies (EP), Unsaturated Polyester (UPE)

Storage and Shelf Life Conditions

FILCO® 339 should be stored in closed containers away from direct sun rays, at temperature between +5 and +30°C. In these conditions maximum suggested storage time is 8 months from production, in the original package. After that date product must be rechecked. During storage a slight settlement can take place, which can easily be eliminated by careful
stirring. Prevent from freezing.
