FILCO® JS 888 serves as an unsaturated polyester-epoxy resin, available in non-ionic water dispersion, specifically designed for application as a film former in glass fiber sizings. Key characteristics of this product include a narrow distribution of particle sizes, ensuring uniformity and consistency in its application. Its resistance to hydrolysis, attributed to the fine particle size, contributes to its extended shelf life. Moreover, when diluted, it maintains high mechanical shear stability, ensuring its effectiveness in various operations within the glass fiber industry.

Functions: Film Former

Chemical Family: Epoxy-Polyester Hybrid

Compatible Polymers & Resins: Epoxies (EP), Unsaturated Polyester (UPE)
