- Lanspec EMP404 is a highly ethoxylated nonionic surfactant system that is APE free.
- Typically Lanspec EMP404 can be used in Emulsion Polymerisation systems as a performance replacement to Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylates with an EO range between 30-50.
- Lanspec EMP404 is recommended to be used in conjunction with an anionic such as: Kemsurf ESD60, Kemsurf ESD, Kemsurf EM9 and Kemsurf OS38.
Lanspec EMP404 is an excellent emulsifier for emulsion polymerization for systems such as:
- Vinyl Acetate - Homopolymer
- Vinyl Acetate - Acrylic
- Styrene - Acrylic
- Acrylic Monomers - Esters and Acids

Storage & Handling
- Storage Conditions
- Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Lanspec EMP208 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination.
- Lanspec EMP208 can separate on standing and at low temperatures.
- May require agitation and warming prior to use.
