Trapylen® 777 is a modified, low chlorinated polypropylene with reactive groups in order to crosslink e.g. with Desmodur N 3390, Z 4370 or other polyisocyanates. The polymer is dissolved in a mixture of toluene, cyclohexane and butylacetate (ratio: 70+20+10). Main merit is its good adhesion strength on polyolefinic plastics. Adhesion and film flexibility of TRAPYLEN® 777 can be increased when adding maleic modified CPO's like TRAPYLEN® 130 X.

Trapylen® T 4121 is designed for coating plastic parts and is applied solely as a resin solution without additional binder resins. Its application methods include dip coating, spraying guns, or the tampon printing method, specifically functioning as an adhesion promoter.

Trapylen® T 8380 is typically applied via spray coating or, preferably, using a mill-point roller. This ready-to-use primer is based on a chemically modified, low-chlorinated polypropylene. It boasts a relatively high film softening temperature, along with excellent film flexibility and resistance against thermal decomposition.

Trapylen® 8000 has outstanding adhesion to various polyolefinic plastics and was developed specially as a ready to use primer with good paintability for TPO-foils. For increased demands concerning adhesion and resistance of the coat (heat and chemicals) it is advisable to crosslink TRAPYLEN® 8000 with polyisocyanates based on HDI oder TDI in a dosage of 2%. The surface tension of the foils should have abt. 50...52 mN/m.

Trapylen® T 8280 and its matt variants serve as ideal primer systems for coating films and foils. Additionally, custom-made products tailored for specific films are available. These ready-to-use primers can be applied as delivered. Some variants can function as two-component systems to enhance resistance against chemicals and temperature. Incorporating the crosslinker prior to application is necessary for these systems.
