- Lanphos PS5 is an effective APE free surfactant and wetting agent for emulsion polymerisation and water bourne emulsion paints.
- The main advantage of a phosphate ester over a conventional anionic in emulsion polymerisation is it’s excellent stability in high concentrations of acid, alkali and electrolytes, and its ability to impart corrosion inhibition in latex and in-can corrosion in emulsion coatings.
- Lanphos PS5 is an excellent emulsifier for emulsion polymerization systems such as:
- Vinyl Acrylic Stirene
- Acrylic Acrylic Monomers
- Esters and Acids
- In water bourne emulsion paints, Lanphos PS5 enhances color development and improves gloss in gloss formulations.
- Lanphos PS5 has also been shown to improve efflorescent resistance.
