Trapylen® 777 is a modified, low chlorinated polypropylene with reactive groups in order to crosslink e.g. with Desmodur N 3390, Z 4370 or other polyisocyanates. The polymer is dissolved in a mixture of toluene, cyclohexane and butylacetate (ratio: 70+20+10). Main merit is its good adhesion strength on polyolefinic plastics. Adhesion and film flexibility of TRAPYLEN® 777 can be increased when adding maleic modified CPO's like TRAPYLEN® 130 X.

Trapylen® 5550 UV is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene dissolved in a reactive, UV-curable monomer known as isobornyl acrylate (IBOA). This formulation exhibits outstanding affinity for polyolefinic plastics such as PP, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubbers and reasonable adhesion to PE. Trapylen® 5800 UV is a chlorinated polypropylene, dissolved in reactive, UVcurable monomer hexandiol diacrylate (HDDA). It has outstanding affinity to polyolefinic plastics such as PP, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubbers and reasonable adhesion to PE. It was developed as an adhesion additive for UV-curing printing inks.

Trapylen® 6765 W is an adhesion promoter based on chemically modified, low- chlorinated polypropylene dissolved in water. The dispersion is free of APEO. TRAPYLEN® 6765 W has outstanding affinity to polyole-finic substrates. It is especially developed to improve surface tension of treated and untreated films, foils, foams and even molded parts of PP, PE, polyolefinic blends, a.o. The increase of wetting properties permits the bonding, printing, flocking and painting of such substrates. TRAPYLEN® 6765 W can be occassionally used as adhesion promoter incorporated in adhesives, inks and paints in case of sufficient compatibility.

Trapylen® 145 X 5 is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene renowned for its remarkable affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, with certain limitations in adhesion strength, PE. The resin in Trapylen® 145 X 5 is characterized by a higher molecular weight within the range of 110,000 and a significantly lower chlorine content compared to other maleic-modified Trapylen® grades. These specific properties contribute to improved adhesion, as well as enhanced heat and chemical resistance. It is primarily utilized as a straight primer, with its principal application in the treatment of molded parts and sealing profiles in the automotive industry, including bumpers, side panels, and door seals.

Trapylen® 950 X is a chlorine-free polyolefin designed for superior adhesion on polyolefinic surfaces like polypropylene, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubbers, and, to a lesser extent, polyethylene. functions as an adhesion promoter in printing inks, adhesives, and paints. As a primer, dissolve 5% solids in xylene for application via spraying, dipping, brushing, or printing.

Trapylen® 112 S is a chemically modified chlorinated polypropylene that stands out as a low-chlorinated variant with exceptional affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, to a limited extent, PE. Distinguished by a higher molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution compared to other modified chlorinated types, Trapylen® 112 S finds versatile applications. It can be employed as a straight primer or as an adhesion promoter for base coats and pigmented primers. Its primary use is in paintings and coatings for molded parts, as well as sealing profiles in the automotive industry, exemplified in applications such as bumpers, side panels, and door seals.

Trapylen® 911 S is newly developed chlorine-free polyolefin with excellent adhesion properties on polyolefinic substrates such as polypropylene, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubbers and with limitations to adhesion strength - as well to polyethylene. Further advantage of this grade is its good solubility in non-aromatic solvents. TRAPYLEN® 911 S is used as adhesion promoter for in printing inks, adhesives and paints, or as a straight primer.

Trapylen® 822 X is a chemically modified low chlorinated polypropylene with outstanding affinity to polyolefinic plastics such as PP, PP/EPDM-blends and, with limitations to adhesion strength, to PE. TRAPYLEN® 822 X is used either as a straight primer or as an adhesion promoter for base coats and pigmented primers. Its principal use is in paintings/coatings for molded parts and sealing profiles in the automotive industry, such as bumpers, side panels and door seals. TRAPYLEN® can also be used in adhesives and flocking agents for door seals. Furthermore it is used in industrial applications where PP based plastics are chemically pretreated.
