Application methods include dip-coating, spraying guns, or the tampon printing method. Notably, Trapylen® 128 X is characterized by very good adhesion properties. Xylene is employed as the solvent in this formulation.

Trapur® X 9100 M is a primer and adhesion promoter system designed for coating, bonding, printing, and laminating polyolefinic plastics. It predominantly utilizes raw materials such as chlorinated polyolefins (CPO), chlorine-free modified polyolefins (APO), and polyurethanes (PU). A notable property of this system is its specialization for TPO films, and it is distinguished as chlorine-free. Xylene is employed as the solvent in this formulation.

Trapylen® 8000 has outstanding adhesion to various polyolefinic plastics and was developed specially as a ready to use primer with good paintability for TPO-foils. For increased demands concerning adhesion and resistance of the coat (heat and chemicals) it is advisable to crosslink TRAPYLEN® 8000 with polyisocyanates based on HDI oder TDI in a dosage of 2%. The surface tension of the foils should have abt. 50...52 mN/m.

Trapylen® T 8280 and its matt variants serve as ideal primer systems for coating films and foils. Additionally, custom-made products tailored for specific films are available. These ready-to-use primers can be applied as delivered. Some variants can function as two-component systems to enhance resistance against chemicals and temperature. Incorporating the crosslinker prior to application is necessary for these systems.

Trapylen® T 8111 is designed for coating plastic parts and is applied solely as a resin solution without additional binder resins. Its application methods include dip coating, spraying guns, or the tampon printing method, specifically functioning as an adhesion promoter.

Trapur® 205 WM is a suitable primer system for coating films and foils. It is a ready-to-use product that is applicable in its delivered form. This primer can be utilized as a two-component system to enhance resistance against chemicals and temperature, with the crosslinker needing incorporation before application.

Trapylen® 113 S is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene known for its exceptional affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, with certain limitations in adhesion strength, PE. Notably, it possesses a higher molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution compared to other modified chlorinated types. Due to its reduced content of maleic anhydride, this product exhibits good compatibility properties with other binder resins. Trapylen® 113 S finds versatile applications, serving either as a straight primer or as an adhesion promoter for base coats and pigmented primers. Its primary use is in paintings and coatings for molded parts, including sealing profiles in the automotive industry, such as bumpers, side panels, and door seals.

Rowaflon® G-75368 is a product designed for specific applications, serving as a UV protection primer and finding utility in textile architecture. Supplied in a solution form with a white color, it contains solvents such as methylethylketone, methoxypropylacetate, and cyclohexanone. This product is characterized by its weather resistance, long-term UV protection, incorporation of an inorganic UV absorber (TiO2), and excellent adhesion to soft PVC, with the caveat that it is only limitedly suitable for colored substrates and is not recommended for use as a top coat.
