Trapylen® 113 S is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene known for its exceptional affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, with certain limitations in adhesion strength, PE. Notably, it possesses a higher molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution compared to other modified chlorinated types. Due to its reduced content of maleic anhydride, this product exhibits good compatibility properties with other binder resins. Trapur® 9350 W is a primer and adhesion promoter system catering to coating, bonding, printing, and laminating activities on polyolefinic plastics. The primary raw materials involved include chlorinated polyolefins (CPO), chlorine-free modified polyolefins (APO), and polyurethanes (PU). Notably, it is designed for use with TPO films and is cross-linkable, with toluene as the solvent.

It's a versatile product suitable for various applications such as solvent-based, water-based, 100% systems (like UV curable), and powder coatings. This wax provides an elegant surface feel, good matting, and excellent mechanical stability. When used with silica, it enhances the polishing resistance and settling properties of heavy materials. In powder coatings, Deuteron® WAX PP2 contributes to good degassing properties.

Deuteron® WD PE is a dispersion of micronized Polyethylene wax, free of additives. Polyethylene waxes are preferred for their cost-effectiveness and positive impact on mechanical stability and visual appearance. The inclusion of Deuteron® WD PE improves resistance against abrasion and scratches, enhances matting, and creates a pleasant surface feel. Designed for ease of use in auto dosage units, this liquid dispersion is formulated without dispersing additives, emulsifiers, or defoamers, ensuring high compatibility without adversely affecting coating performance.

Trapylen® 137 X is a suitable product for coating plastic parts, particularly when used as a primer. In this application, the product is applied as a resin solution without the need for modification with other binder resins. Application methods include dip-coating, spraying guns, or the tampon printing method. A notable property of Trapylen® 137 X is its improved compatibility compared to 135 X. Xylene is employed as the solvent in this formulation.

Trapylen® 145 X 5 is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene renowned for its remarkable affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, with certain limitations in adhesion strength, PE. The resin in Trapylen® 145 X 5 is characterized by a higher molecular weight within the range of 110,000 and a significantly lower chlorine content compared to other maleic-modified Trapylen® grades. These specific properties contribute to improved adhesion, as well as enhanced heat and chemical resistance. It is primarily utilized as a straight primer, with its principal application in the treatment of molded parts and sealing profiles in the automotive industry, including bumpers, side panels, and door seals.

Trapylen® 196 X is a low-chlorinated liquid polypropylene, presenting as a slightly yellowish, higher-viscous liquid. It exhibits generally excellent adhesion to polypropylene, PP-modified thermoplastic rubbers, and, with certain limitations, to polyethylene. The primary application of Trapylen® 196 X is as a primer in surface treatment and as an adhesion promoter for adhesives in the processing of polyolefins. This includes various processes such as painting, printing, bonding, and laminating, among others.
