This primer can be utilized as a two-component system to enhance resistance against chemicals and temperature, with the crosslinker needing incorporation before application.

Trapylen® 8000 has outstanding adhesion to various polyolefinic plastics and was developed specially as a ready to use primer with good paintability for TPO-foils. For increased demands concerning adhesion and resistance of the coat (heat and chemicals) it is advisable to crosslink TRAPYLEN® 8000 with polyisocyanates based on HDI oder TDI in a dosage of 2%. The surface tension of the foils should have abt. 50...52 mN/m.
